My name is Kim. I am a hard working, highly motivated mum of two, including my beautiful daughter Millie, who has CdLS. As an award winning Circus and Physical Theatre Director and Producer, I have a 14 year history in choreography, direction and international events, founding the renowned highly physical theatre Company, RoguePlay Theatre. Creatively, I have a passion for innovative new work particularly experimenting with the combination of aerial and acrobatic movement and text in both horizontal and vertical space, creating work of female empowerment that borders contemporary theatre and circus practice. I am both passionate and committed to the development of sensory circus and acrobatic work for young people and adults with multi/complex disabilities and making circus arts accessible to all. I am very happy to work as a trustee of the CdLS Foundation UK & Ireland and support events and research into the future.

I have extensive experience working in show touring, event production and with corporate and private event partners, and have worked with companies such as Gravity & Levity, Nofit State, Nikon, Panasonic, Birmingham Hippodrome, Rainforest Foundation UK and the Commonwealth Games Opening Ceremony. I am also the Director of West Midlands Circus Centre, Producer of TILT Festival UK, mentor young companies and My working life responsibilities include; directing creative teams for international touring, event management planning & risk assessing, budgeting & cash flow, public funding applications, marketing & audience development and evaluation. Over the last 5 years, I have mentored emerging artists such as Laura Vanhulle Dance Company, Autin Dance Theatre, Company Apidae and as a mentor for Mercury Theatre Associate Artists.
