Dr. Richard Fitzgerald is a Consultant in Special Care Dentistry at East Surrey Hospital and Queen Mary University London. He provides dental care for adults and adolescents who require additional support including those with CdLS, and has a research interest into the oral health of people living with a learning disability. He has previously rolled out digital solutions to improve the clinical care and communication for people living with a learning disability and is working towards a clinical PhD to improve the oral health of the wider population.
