» Dr Katherine Ellis

Dr Katherine Ellis is a Research Fellow at the University of Surrey overseeing the day-to-day running of a research project looking at social behavior and autistic traits in neurodevelopmental disorders. She completed her undergraduate dissertation with Professor Chris Oliver at the Cerebra Centre for Neurodevelopmental Disorders, investigating social behaviour in CdLS. She then completed a PhD looking at the development of social skills and behaviours in children and adults with genetic syndromes, including those with CdLS. Katherine has also worked at the Aston Brain Centre working on a project investigating the risk and resilience factors that can predict individual long-term behavioural and cognitive outcomes in children with brain injuries.
